So my 15 year old niece saw the movie Farenheit 9/11 the other day. My sister says she now has quite an opinion about George Bush after seeing that movie. You see, that's my problem with movies like this. When an entire Movie/Documentary is based on lies & half-truths it is easy to taint someone into your way of thinking. In an article called "fifty-nine deceits" Dave Kopel, who is a Research Director of the Independence Institute and an NRO columnist, calls out many of Michael Moore's lies, half-truths & innuendos in this film. Before you go thinking this is a guy who is a Bush supporter, Kopel endorsed and voted for Ralph Nader in 2000...Just like Michael Moore.

Another good site to check out for the lies in this documentary is Slate. On this site Christopher Hitchens tells us, "To describe this film as dishonest and demagogic would almost be to promote those terms to the level of respectability. To describe this film as a piece of crap would be to run the risk of a discourse that would never again rise above the excremental. To describe it as an exercise in facile crowd-pleasing would be too obvious. Fahrenheit 9/11 is a sinister exercise in moral frivolity, crudely disguised as an exercise in seriousness. It is also a spectacle of abject political cowardice masking itself as a demonstration of "dissenting" bravery."
