Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy opened today. I went and say the show on my (long) lunch. It was whimsical and funny (in parts) and pretty much what I'd expected from the previews. I only wish they wouldn't have made the Zaphond character so silly. I know he was goofy and spacey in the book series, but the movie seemed to get side tracked whenever he had a big seen. All in all it was a farly good representation of the book...although I'm not so sure people who have not read the book will get some of the jokes. Overall I'd recommend it to my friends, but would tell them not to expect and Oscar nominations...lol.
