Training at Verizon is going well. Just three more days and I get to hit the streets. Three tests down, two to go. So far I've got a couple 98% scores and a 96%. Right now I figure that places me about 2nd in my class and 1st among the premise reps. There is a person in our class, Tiffany, who has done an outstanding job. She is signing on as a new telephone rep & I know a lot of seasoned veterans who could take some lessons from her. Knowing the turnover ratio in sales, I know out of 13 people in my class, only 3 or 4 will become a "success." I feel confident we will be two of them. I wonder who the other two will be?

Alex Rodriguez winning the AL-MVP is a joke! Is he the "best player" in the AL, I think so...did he do the most to help his team win? No. And therein lies the difference. The MVP should be the player who is "most valuable" to his team. How do you measure "value" in baseball? Easy: Wins and losses. The Rangers lost more games than they won. Don't you think they could do that without A-Rod?
So I am sitting here in training looking out the window at the snow falling here in the Pacific Northwest. The snow is great, as long as you don't have to drive in it. Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I've been in some pretty intensive training with my new company, Verizon Information Services. I plan to get back on the ball here in the next couple days. Hopefully I can keep it up.
My buddy, Robert Scoble, says there is a weblogger meetup in Seattle tonight. I won't be there, but I hope everyone who does go has a good time. They are usually pretty interesting people from what I hear.
